Who We Are

Synergy Resources HK Ltd, established in 2007, is a Hong Kong–based commodity trading company with a strong presence in the global steel raw materials supply chain.

Our promoters bring over three decades of experience and were among the pioneers of spot trades between India and China in the iron ore market during the early 2000s. Starting out as commodity traders, they later expanded into mining and real estate.

Over the years, Synergy has grown into a leading player in the trading of iron ore, ferrous scrap, steel products, and the chartering of bulk vessels, supported by a team of experienced professionals across London, Dubai, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, and Auckland. We also operate a specialised derivatives desk.

With a vast global network, deep market knowledge, and strong operational capabilities, Synergy has expanded multifold over the past two decades. We maintain long-term relationships with miners and scrap yards to ensure consistent, reliable supplies of quality raw materials for our customers.

Iron Ore Trading

We specialise in sourcing and delivering high-quality iron ore to steel manufacturers worldwide. With a robust network and reliable supply chains, we trade over 3 million tons of iron ore annually, primarily from India to China.
Steel Scrap Trading

We support the global recycling economy by sourcing steel scrap from the UK, EU, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brazil, and supplying it to steel producers in India, Bangladesh, and Southeast Asia. Our annual trading volume is around 200,000 MT.
Finished Steel Products

We bridge demand and supply for finished steel, moving products from China to India, UAE and Europe. Our strong market relationships ensure competitive pricing, timely deliveries, and consistent quality.
